Gould Landscapes Ltd is predominantly a service industry supplying labour only services to our clients. We will do our utmost to promote environmental awareness amongst our many and varied clients and actively encourage them to adopt best environmental practice and co-operate with those that have environmental management systems in place where there is sound commercial and technical rational. Goulds recognises that management of the company’s own energy consumption and improvements, need to make efficiencies which will make sound business sense and demonstrates a commitment to the principles of sustainability and managed energy usage. We are committed to achieving the Government’s Net Zero target by 2050. Gould Landscapes Ltd is accredited within the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) having demonstrated compliance with and sound management of current health and safety legislation. Gould Landscapes Ltd operates through Area and Site Managers; each one being responsible for the health, safety and welfare of our employees paying particular attention to: Gould Landscapes Ltd has achieved SafeContractor accreditation. Gould Landscapes Ltd provides health assessment and surveillance, training, safety devices and personal protective equipment and clothing as is necessary to safeguard the Health, Safety and Welfare of its employees. All employees have a legal responsibility and duty to take reasonable care to ensure their own safety and that of other persons who may be affected by their work activities. The company considers it a priority to promote a greater awareness of health and safety issues amongst staff and seek to gain their co-operation in taking preventative measures wherever possible to minimise the risk of accidents, injury and ill health occurring at work by complying with legal requirements and company procedures. Gould Landscapes Ltd is a proud member of British Association of Landscape Industries. BALI Registered members can carry out works in all areas of landscaping, including but not limited to garden design, hard and soft landscaping, lawn care or artificial grass, hydroseeding, irrigation and drainage, groundworks, roof gardens and sports grounds and maintenance. Gould Landscapes Ltd is a member of Safety Schemes in Procurement. Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) is the mutual recognition scheme for occupational health and safety standards. SSIP facilitates mutual recognition between health and safety pre-qualification schemes saving time, effort and cost of multiple certifications. Gould Landscapes Ltd received a certificate of assurance and complies with the requirements of the Cyber Essentials Scheme. The scope of this certification covers the IT infrastructure currently used within Gould Landscapes Ltd including, but not limited to, servers, workstations, mobile devices, network equipment, firewall hardware, anti-virus and software applications. All equipment within the scope of this assessment is at the Gould Landscapes Ltd head office in Dartford, Kent and regional offices in Derby, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Fareham, Liverpool and Newcastle.
